Connected Robotics started developing cooking robot systems in 2017 with the mission "To innovate the food industry with robotics”

We are the only company in Japan that has developed robot systems for handling foods such as "Takoyaki Robot," "Soft Ice Cream Robot," "Soba Robot," "Fried Potato Robot," "Inspection Robot," and “Plating Robot (Delibot)," and have actual experience of introducing these systems in restaurants and food factories.
The combination of ”High technical capability & Software specialization" enables us to solve issues such as labor shortages, low productivity, and harsh working conditions in the food industry.
In 2019, we were selected for J-Startup, a startup development support program of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Background
The founder studied computer science and robotics control at the University of Tokyo and Kyoto University graduate schools, and started working for a restaurant chain as his first career where he experienced the hard work and drudgery of restaurant management. He then worked in robot system development before founding his own company. He started a robot service business specializing in the food industry after coming up with the idea of a cooking robot business and winning a pitch event.
Feature
We provide robotics systems at an affordable price usable in limited spaces such as restaurants and food factories. By choosing the right robotic arm and using the highly versatile robot control technology, they can be introduced in existing stores and factories.
Utilizing machine learning, we have automated the cooking process of irregular, soft, and diverse foods. Moreover, by simulating the robot's movements, trial testing costs and lead time to production can be drastically reduced, making possible a smooth implementation process.
