He joined UTokyo IPC from 2024.
He started his career at The Norinchukin Bank in 2000 in the business domain of alternative investment such as securitization products or financing corporate acquisition.
In 2011 he joined Development Bank of Japan Inc. (DBJ) after working at KPMS FAS as M&A advisory. In DBJ he engaged in securities management, bank finance, private equity investment (primarily in North America) and asset management.
He was later seconded to DBJ Capital Co., Ltd in 2017. There, as Director of Investment, he lead startup investments in deep tech areas such as AI, robotics and space.
In 2021 he was invited to Genesia Ventures as Partner, making investments in climate and space fields as well as initiating its ESG investment strategy.
He graduated from UTokyo with degree in economics, and finished Anderson School of Management, UCLA.
